# Suddenly everything is being transcoded

Something is imposing a 8 Mbps bandwidth limit. PMS is transcoding to get below the limit.

`Apr 23, 2020 21:35:31.730 [0x7fe5a67fc700] WARN - Streaming Resource: Bandwidth exceeded: 9381 kbps > 8000 kbps`

`Apr 23, 2020 21:35:31.731 [0x7fe5a67fc700] DEBUG - Streaming Resource: Calculated bandwidth of 10780kbps exceeds bandwidth limit. Changing decision parameters provided by client to fit bandwidth limit of 8000kbps`
