A few days ago after having Plex work from outside my home network for years, it also suddenly stopped working. I didn’t change anything not on router nor on Plex Server settings.
Also need help to get this fixed please !

I have been having these same issues with the latest version of Plex. Bizarrely even though it says Not available outside your network, it still is for some people but not for others.
If I hit disconnect and reconnect it’s fine again for a while before it drops off again.

I have also been having the same issues with Remote Access over the past 24 hours. At first I thought it might be the latest PLEX update, but I was still seeing the same issues after rolling back the PLEX update.
I checked the latest Windows updates and noticed that there was also a Windows Defender update that installed yesterday. I disabled Windows Defender to see if that might be the issue and it appears that my Remote Access is working again. I am not sure if this is the root cause or not, but I am going to give it a day or two to see if this workaround holds.

I have the same problem, except mine hasn’t been working since last night (about 12 hrs). nothing has changed on my router, and there have been no updates on my mac over the last few days either so it’s not that. Not sure what to do now 
- after a major Windows Update, verify that the network connection is not back to ‘public’ classification
I went into my firewall to Allow Apps. clicked “Change Settings” and found Plex. Unchecked public and all started working.
sooo I haven’t touched anything but now it works… it still says that it doesn’t but I can see movies with my phone using 4G… The mysteries of technology…
This problem isn’t fixed from what I can see. Tries 30 minutes ago. Even tried to convert some files to optimize for mobile same issue. I think their is a major flaw in the application preventing streaming.
Can confirm this is definitely the case for me too. I have changed nothing, this is a Plex flaw/outage that needs to be looked at ASAP.
Just wanting to add that I’m having this issue too. It has always been fine until now with the default config, but since it not working I have specified a port and forwarded it (which is saying it is open on canyouseeme.org) but still no luck getting a connection.
If it helps I am running on Ubuntu Server 18.04.4
You are not the only one. This issue has been widespread for a while. I suspect though that there are some additional ports which need to be opened (similar to a cgnat) due to internet provider specific reasons (behind the scenes ip4/6 shenanigans maybe). Would be nice if Plex would help clarify this so we can try out more apart from either upnp or portforwarding to 32400
So as much as it was working last night… its no longer working today… Can an official Plex God answer our questions. Its not normal that it works at night and when we wake up in the morning it no longer works…

Remote access outside my network isn’t available for me either since yesterday. Please let me know what’s going on with Plex? Or is this Coronavirus related?

I have read through dozens of possible fixes to this problem but has not solved the problem, The PMS allows remote access but after 20-30 disables remote access. I enabled again, works but then 20-30 minutes later disables.
I am running Plex Server Version 1.18.8.2527-740d4c206 on MacOS Catalina, created static ip and port forwarded no resolve. Any ideas?
I would be glad to provide logs directly to a plex support team member.
Same issue here but shows as connected but no access but you can access it even though its showing red x instead of green fully accessible which it has done for years what has changed???
Hey Plex god’s can you give us an answer? we are all locked up due to corona and this kinda annoying…
