Dear all,

without me \*knowlingly\* doing something specific, my TV remote keys are not evaluated by rasplex anymore. No button press does do any changes, although it was working with the same TV before.

The only change I did was to move to a different ethernet connection (first via cable to wireless extender, now via cable to ethernet hub), but this doesn't seem to be the problem, as logging into rasplex with ssh works, and the screen shots also show up.

I am running RasPlex 0.6.0, and PMS on Mac latest PlexPass version.

I have checked the log files in /storage/.plexht/temp, but there is no specific output there.

Any hint on how to debug that? Or better, fix that?

Thanks

PS: Sony TV

I have now enabled logging and see things like the following in my log file:

```
19:50:18 T:1865413712 DEBUG: CecLogMessage - key pressed: down (2, 0)
19:50:21 T:1789916240 DEBUG: CecLogMessage - << requesting power status of 'TV' (0)
19:50:21 T:1789916240 DEBUG: CecLogMessage - << 10:8f
19:50:22 T:1789916240 DEBUG: CecLogMessage - expected response not received (90: report power status)
19:50:22 T:1789916240 DEBUG: CecLogMessage - << 10:8f
19:50:23 T:1789916240 DEBUG: CecLogMessage - expected response not received (90: report power status)
```

The "expected response not received" does not look very promising ... but it \*was\* working, umpf.

Could it be that some setting of the TV has changed (one never knows what other members of the same household are pressing ;-) ???

One more thing: I tried to change cables, and HDMI port on the TV, all without success ... :-(

Looks like someone has turned off BraviaSync on the TV.

Hi

thanks for your answer. I have checked all the settings, and BraviaSync is on, sends all the buttons according to the menu. When I am call up the "link menu" I can select "manage now watching device" etc etc, but there is still no response whatsoever from rasplex.

The settings menu of rasplex tells me that the CEC adapter is connected, and the log files mention that, too.

What surprises me is that the log shows that the keys \*are\* received:

```
19:50:18 T:1865413712 DEBUG: CecLogMessage - key released: down (2) D:211ms
19:50:18 T:1865413712 DEBUG: PushCecKeypress - received key a7 duration 211
```

So I would expect that there is a reaction ...
