I’ve been using plex for a week now and I see that on the Xbox one the app seem to use the default player from microsoft to play things.
This cause problem because the server have to transcode everything that the Xbox don’t support sutch as some file format or subtitles.
Having an independant player (like hulu or netflix) will ease the server’s job.
In the same time, people running Plex on a NAS will have a better user experiance. I think that if they do actually enable subtitle, that will not work at all…
