# Sync Content to MacOS Application

Does anyone know if Plex is planning to release a feature to the Plex Media App on MacOS to enable content to be sync’d to a macintosh computer? I am aware that Windows 10 has this feature. Do we know if this will ever be released for the Mac? Seem like neither Plex nor Netlfix have any love for the Mac with regaurd to downloading content to the machine itself for offline viewing.

The “WIndows” app is meant for mobile tablets. Microsoft just happens to run the same OS on tablets as on computers.
Apples tablets run iOS.
We are not making another separate app for macOS only.

Will the sync function be made avalible on the mac app that already exists?

The mac app that already exists? If you mean PMP that is cross platform (Mac and Windows). It is unlikely that will get Sync

Just to be clear the teams are aware of the desire for this. Pretty sure there is a feature request in feature request forum section,
I am not going to say it will never happen but I do not want to make false promises and get your hopes up.
