I just had a quick question/bug. So I’ve just gone on holiday, and synced a bunch of movies and TV series.
The server is offline, firstly because I’m on holiday, secondly because remote streaming or virtually anything on my data capped internet back home would use for too much data no matter what it did.
My question: why can I not delete any of my synced items off my mobile? It is wanting to contact the server, but could it not do that when I get back? I filled my phone thinking I could delete the stuff I watched on the plane on the way over.
It’s just really weird, surely it could be so easily to implement.
That is one of those strange bugs we cannot reproduce ourselves. You should not have that issue with the new Downloads feature if you have not tried that already.
It’s 100% a bug, that I’ve had the last two times I’ve tried to travel. I’m guessing the only way to clear this space off my phone now would be to clear all data from the Plex app deleting all my synced movies and TV series.
So I watched godmothered on the way over, I managed to delete it from the manage part of the downloads (see last screenshot for the little bin I used to delete on a similar item), but it’s still showing and playing on the downloaded movies. So it hasn’t been deleted.
