# Sync on Plex Player for Mac OSX

Is Sync for MAC coming anytime soon? I just realized that it is not supported when trying to move from an iPad and going to a MacBook. Kind of hard to watch videos on a plane or off the grid without Sync.

@susez @tom80H Why is this request private/deleted? This is a functionality I’d love to see _ **restored** _.

the feature already exists in the new Plex for Mac and Windows apps. [Plex for Mac and Windows](https://forums.plex.tv/t/plex-for-mac-and-windows/446435)

it won’t be coming to Plex Media Player if that is what you are asking
