# Synchronize subtitles from Android app?

I have a Plex server with lots of content that I stream to a Chromecast using the Android app. I frequently have foreign subtitles turned on, and they're usually available but VERY out-of-sync. Like, up to minutes out of sync. I would love a way to adjust the subtitle offset from the Android app and have my offset saved for that file indefinitely.
I'm a developer--is there some mechanism by which I could build this myself? If I built my own Android app that would remotely change the .srt file on-disk while the video is being transcoded by Plex, would the changes get picked up? Is there a way for third parties/plugins to inject content into the video stream itself, like what Plex does with subtitles?

I’m looking for a way to change subtitles timings on a Android App, I don’t know why it’s still missing as of today 😕
