I have two plex servers in different states. I keep all my media on two NAS drives with their data synced between them. My problem is that i spend 6 months in each area each year.
Addibg either one of two features would solve my problem of identifying which elements have been already viewed.

1. Be able to link two or more plex servers such that the viewed state is dynamically updated when changed. (Hard)
Or
2. Allow an (an incremental) export of one server which can be imported onto another server. (Much easier)

Consider using something like this: [GitHub - jacobwgillespie/plex-sync: Command line utility for synchronizing Plex Media Server watched / seen status between multiple servers](https://github.com/jacobwgillespie/plex-sync)

Early 2021 clean-up: duplicate

It wouldn’t be easy to make this work for series that weren’t matched with TVDB, but I think it could work for those that are matched without too much trouble.
