I’ve mulled this idea over some time, as an avid rewatcher of shows during work from home days and such for background noise. I call it the Syndication Channel. The idea is that you could tag your preferred shows, movies, or even movie collections. When you open this channel, it would start a randomized playback of those specified pieces of media. Some features you could have in place would be: - Show order randomization - By default have it show any of the shows in order, so you wouldn’t see some season 10 episode before a season 3 one. When turned off, it wouldn’t care about this order. - Chain multi-part episodes - Multi-arch episodes that span consecutive episodes would be played in order when the first one was shown. - Keeps record of what episodes have already played. This would be separate tracking from regular watch history I think. When a show is finished, it removes from the channel until you re-add it. - When leaving the channel it would hold your playback and resume when you re-opened it. ---

I would definitely say this is in the same wheelhouse, maybe with some more customization/functionality behind it. I’m ok with this being closed in favor of that suggestion. The fact that the suggestion has been up for 4 years makes me think that this is unlikely to show up anytime soon though ☹ ---
