Server Version#:Latest 64 but on NAS

I have a brand new Synology 718+ NAS, I hemp running the Plex media server off of the NAS. I wanted to have a live tv with DVR, I currently own a Tablo, but I saw that it wasn’t compatible with Plex. After reading as much about this subject as I could, I purchased the HD homerun extend. I tried out the HDHR app on my iPhone and the channels were perfect with zero buffering. I tried the plex app on my phone, It took a long time to get into the channel, once you got in there it buffered every 5 to 10 seconds. Same thing on my Apple TV 4K.
Using my Tablo, no buffering at all. I have no problem streaming 1080p movies I have in Plex.
I have read numerous complaints but did not see a solution. Is there any hope, or do I switch to Channels DVR or can Embry do what Plex cannot? I really would like an all in one solution so I can cut the cord for good.
