Tagging Custom Home Video Will not Restrict Access?

There isn’t a way to add a tag inside the shared tab as it the shared tab dosn’t exists. https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/204232573

I added a tag but when I switch accounts they do not see any of the media with the tag. I’ve tried adding the tag to every single field and still no go. The locks are orange.

I’m sure I’m missing something easy.

Please advise.

please post the Plex XML info of the item in question.

Are you adding this into a dedicated “Other Videos” library, or is this a regular “movie” type library?

Do also note that sharing tags are a kind of “white-listing”, and not the other way around.
So the restricted account has access to all the items which are tagged with certain tags.
