# Templating plex ui

Player Version#: 4.120.1

Is there any way to redesign or perhaps use a template to change the web UI around? Just updated my pi-hole to use the new Picard LCARS UI and it looks great, then went back to Plex server in my browser and felt sad.

Would be great to have a templating system and creative types could upload new UI designs…unless something like this already exists and I don’t know about it. Not sure how it would work with the client since so many different devices, televisions, etc, maybe only work for the web UI? If the layout is hardcoded by devs, then it _could_ be driven by a template, and use the default layout unless the user installs a different template. This would work for any output device as long as someone has built a template for that device.

Maybe I’m just spitting into the wind…
