I see that there are a few topics over the last couple years but I want to be sure that I understand the answer (since many have been in OS specific topic areas). I want to have a pre-roll video run every time someone plays a movie off of my server. I can place the URL in the pre-roll field and if I uncheck the rest of the boxes then the pre-roll should be the only thing to play before the movie. But, if the person in charge of the player sets their number of trailers to 0/None, then they still will not get the pre-roll? Is that correct? Why can’t I, as the Plex Media Server master, not force them to run and the player settings just determine how many additional trailers there are? Or am I missing something all together? ---

You must select 1 trailer under Player for pre roll to play every movie. If none is selected than pre roll won’t play. Uncheck everything under Agent to avoid movie trailers from playing. ---
