Hello,
I'm having an issue with getting plex connect to work with my Apple TV and PMS. Below I have pasted the Plexconnect log as well as my Settings.cfg info.

I have searched the forums and followed the install directions to the letter and the issue continues. Something that I have noticed that is different from other users logs is that I dont get a confirmation that it detects the PMS. The PlexGDM never shows up. I have verified that the PMS is working, I'm able to connect to it from my phone without an issue. I have also tried deleting and reinstalling both PMS and Plexconnect and the issue continues. Lastly I also tried disabling windows firewall and have had no luck.
Also I'm running windows 8.1.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to set log level to “High”, note the capital H.
Also the log is not the terminal window output it is a file in the PlexConnect folder.

I have set the log level to high.
I believe this is a copy of the log.

Additional info,
I did the setup on my MacBook Pro and it worked fine. I was able to use plex connect from there. So it doesnt appear to be an issue related to the Apple TV since I could use my MBP without an issue.
Could this issue be related to windows firewall? Also when installing openssl I got an error saying that Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 redistributables was missing. I went to microsofts website and installed them but the error persists.

It is probably either firewall or certs related.
If the cert files work on your MacBook try copying them over to your windows install (delete the current ones in your windows install certs folder).
If that doesn’t work then add inbound(!) rules for Python.exe for BOTH TCP and UDP (disabling firewalls often does not really disable them).

The issue was with the certifcates, after copying over the ones from the macbook it works normally. I have a feeling it is an issue related to the error I was getting when installing OpenSSL.
