I really would like to know WHY your Mac doesn't seem to let the http/https requests in... I just can't think of a reason. Do a "lsof" to figure out if really PlexConnect is connected to ports 80 and 443. There ware options to filter the answers, unfortunately I don't know how to apply those... do a forum search or check our WIKI, I think there were some hints in the troubleshooting section. Also, what do you see when browsing to - 192.168.1.104:80? - 192.168.1.104:443? Do you have a chance to send those requests from a second computer/smartphone? ---

Not isof, "L"sof. It's a unix(?) command giving information about the process/hardware correlation. Well, something like that. From the wiki: \>\> OSX: Enter the following (without the quotes) in the terminal "sudo lsof -i -P" and look to see in the output what is using port 80 As you are on it already, also check for port 443. :-) If both are "captured" by PlexConnect (or Python for that matter), we should be good. Do you run virtualisation of any kind? There is a difference between sending it locally on the PlexConnect host (it doesn't need to go through the network) and from a another machine - where it has to be routed through the network, from one machine to another. ---

When you download a brand new version of plexconnect you keep all the settings stock as in you only copy over trailers.pem and let plexconnect generate the settings.cfg file itself. ---

Solved by screen sharing assistance. Bad trailers.pem generation. Redid trailers.pem and plexconnect is showing up now on his atv. Airplay from his macbook pro was enabled causing plexconnect to constantly drop out when playing anything as well almost instantly. ---

Hello I'm posting in response to this thread as I appear to be suffering an identical issue, however the solution of regenerating the certificate files does not resolve the issue for me. My setup appears identical to that of rolun11 with the exception that my PMS / PlexConnect host is an OSX 10.6 based machine that is otherwise working just fine. I do see PlexConnect respond when I access the Trailers App on the ATV (Log shows: "WebServer: serving /Users/sphardy/PlexConnect-master/assets/js/application.js"), but then there is nothing further reported and I get the "Trailers is Unavailable"... message. It almost seems as if PlexConnect is unable to access the PMS.
