Sorry, another one of the trailers not available posts :(

I'm running PlexConnect from the 1st September and PMS version 0.9.8.5 on the same Windows 7 Ultimate box 192.168.1.82. Python is version 2.7.5. ATV is ATV3 version 5.3(6105). I'm in the UK.

My settings.cfg -

[PlexConnect]

logpath = .

enable\_dnsserver = True

ip\_webserver = 0.0.0.0

prevent\_atv\_update = True

port\_dnsserver = 53

enable\_plexconnect\_autodetect = True

port\_pms = 32400

port\_webserver = 80

ip\_plexconnect = 0.0.0.0

certfile = C:\PlexConnect\assets\certificates railers.pem

ip\_dnsmaster = 8.8.8.8

loglevel = Normal

ip\_pms = 192.168.178.10

enable\_plexgdm = True

port\_ssl = 443

I followed the instructions on installing the certificate from a Windows machine but no luck. I noticed something, it may be nothing, in the console of the iPhone Configuration Utility under the AppleTV console when I was installing the certificate on it -

Dec 31 16:01:38 Apple-TV mc\_mobile\_tunnel[87] : (Note ) MC: mc\_mobile\_tunnel starting.

Also, when I click on the Trailers icon it reports the following to the console -

**Sep 3 10:01:29 Apple-TV AppleTV[68] : Sep 3 10:01:29 SecTrustEvaluate [leaf ValidLeaf ValidRoot]**

I did a bit of digging and apparently that error is a trust issue with self signed certificates. It might be a red herring but anyone have any ideas what could be wrong?

Hmm, do you use your own root ca cert, which also installed in ATV config file, to sign your pem? like you run your own openssl command to generate ca cert and use the same cert to sign the pem?

No, I was following the instructions in this post [http://forums.plexapp.com/index.php/topic/79540-windows-specific-instructions-for-creating-and-installing-the-ssl-cert/](http://forums.plexapp.com/index.php/topic/79540-windows-specific-instructions-for-creating-and-installing-the-ssl-cert/). However, I started again on another Windows 7 PC and when finished I installed the certificate on my original PlexConnect PC and all is working. Something on the original PC must have been making it create a dodgy certificate.
