# Transcoding over local network stopped working

Server Version#: 4.141.0  
Player Version#: 8.44 (iPhone)

My server is just a computer with an internal hard drive, no NAS.

I updated to Windows 11 and now am having issues. On iPhone, I can still direct play over the local network, but anything that requires transcoding will time out while buffering and never plays.

In contrast, on my AppleTV, I am able to both do direct play and play transcoded videos.

I’ve tried disabling the firewall on the Plex server and that did not work.

EDIT: In case anyone else has this specific issue, I deleted the iphone app and reinstalled and it worked again. Wild.
