I am changing the hardware I use for Plex, from a Win10 PC to a WD PR4100. I will be building the new box while I am on the road so that it is ready to bring online when I get home as I retire the old one. From what I understand Plex is available for the WD which is great, but I have a few questions as I prepare
Is there any way to transfer the old build’s data into the new one? I did a lot of tweaking to the entries to get them all to work properly and would rather not go through that again.
Also, anything I need to be aware of as I set this up to avoid problems?
