Need the Plex Tray icon to somehow change when recordings are in progress, so you know whether it’s safe to do a reboot for Windows Updates and such. Windows Media Center had this and it was VERY handy!

in the mean time, it is possible to see when recording via plexweb [https://app.plex.tv/desktop](https://app.plex.tv/desktop)
the activity indicator will have a spinning circle

Yes, I’m aware of this, but that requires opening the web interface, it would be much more convenient to just see an indicator in the system tray.

great idea, but i would love the tray icon to indicate if there is any activity at all 🙂
