Tried to add movie to PLEX, said it was already in PLEX, however when searching for movie, it cannot find it! Cannot find alternate names, & actors in movie does not show with that movie!
Are you trying to add your own movie file to Plex?
Or is this somehow related to the Plex free on demand movies?

I can’t find the info within Plex, because PLEX does not recognize that the movie is in its data base! However it won’t AG the movie because it says it is already there. It is one of my movies that I am trying to add!
You seem rather lost.
There’s no option in Plex to add individual movies where Plex might complain that a file is already in its database.
Plex can be linked to a library folder and will scan/catalogue the files it finds there (assuming they’re halfway properly named and organized).
Is this somewhat linked to your first attempt to get files recognized by Plex?
In anyway, please share some more details about what you’re trying to achieve, what you’ve done and what exactly is happening / going wrong.
I am trying to load a movie, that may have been previously loaded, PLEX tell me it is already in PLEX, however when I search for the movie it tells me it cannot locate it, or that it is not in PLEX. I have checked to see if there might be an alternate name, but can’t find one!
