# Troubleshooting, but tried most things

Hi there.

I recently installed and bought access to Plex and all its features, but i am still having one issue. I have tried googling it inside and out but i cannot find any solution for it.

I cant download for offline use? Here’s a list of what i have done: I am using windows btw.

Downloaded several times the “latest” version of Plex on windows.  
Uninstalled and reinstalled several times.  
Checked my settings and checked that i have an active pass with “premium” feature.  
Downloaded everything that is needed through the information that is available to me.

Now i am not a super tech guy, but i think i can manage to do this, but something is missing? I dont know what. Hopefully someone can point me to a right direction. thanks for your time.

You can only download media from your own, personal Plex server.  
Your own plex server appears to have no media on it.

You cannot download Plex’s free, ad-supported media which are available through the “Movies & TV” library.

A Plex Pass doesn’t give you access to media content as such. It only unlocks features of Plex clients and the personal Plex media server.
