Trying to sync media to my windows 10 Plex Media Player. But device not showing on list?

Sorry if this has been covered before, new to all this! I’ve installed PMP onto my surface pro and logged in. when i go to try and sync a film the only devices it shows available are my 2 ipads. however if i go to my account setting under devices the surface pro PMP is showing. any help?

PMP is not a ‘mobile’ Plex app.
The feature is called ‘Mobile Sync’.

The only app on Windows which supports ‘mobile sync’ is the ‘Plex for Windows’ app from the Microsoft app store. (because it also runs on Windows tablets and phones)
