# Turning off screensavers

When I play a playlist on Plex or any music, after a few minutes I get a screensaver where the album cover moves around a black screen. Is there any way to turn this off? I can find no screensaver settings in the Settings of Plex Media Server.

The screensaver settings - if there are any - are in the Plex App and will probably be associated/over-ridden by any screensavers on the particular device itself.
FireTV, for instance, experiences a screen saver at 5 minutes - no matter what you do. Hopefully the client/device you’re using behaves a bit better or at least as expected.

Thanks. I am using Roku and have already disabled its screensaver in its settings. Thoughts?

In the Roku Plex app, navigate to Settings -\> Experience -\> Screensaver. Settings can be found by clicking on your username at the top of the left-hand list.
