# TV Lineups

Hi,

Apologies in advance if this has been previously requested or is possible in another way (I searched but may have missed it).

My idea is to add a new top-level section to [TV Shows] called [Lineups], that would move through a list of shows one episode at a time, like a network lineup.

[Lineups] would be similar to [Collections] in that you can add your existing shows to them, but would differ in that:

- Show order determines playback order, and is customizable
- Playback moves from show to show, 1 episode at a time

For example:

- User creates a new Lineup named “Friday Nights”
- User adds some shows to it; Simpsons, X-Files, In Living Color
- Hitting play on the Lineup goes: Simpsons (next episode), X-Files (next episode), In Living Color (next episode), stop

Exceptions:

- When a show runs out of episodes it starts over by default, but could also be set to skip
- Lineup completion could be customizable (stop, start next)

Thanks a bunch for these, it’s interesting to see—they are in a similar vein, but I think different enough in concept and experience to coexist.
