# TV Recently Added - Odd behavior

I recently moved Plex to a different server. I moved the registry settings over and pointed everything back to the NAS that holds all the data. Everything went perfectly. However, I’ve noticed that when I add new TV shows now, they will show up under Recently Added but the rest of the list are shows I’ve added years ago. Not unexpected at first since I just moved everything. The problem is that the next day, the prior days shows are gone and it’s back to showing old ones again. It doesn’t seem to want to keep new shows in the list for more than a day or so.
The Recently Added Movies works exactly as expected and I can scroll though a history of what I’ve uploaded lately. It’s only the Recently added TV that’s acting wonky.
Not sure how to troubleshoot this one.

Make sure you keep that checkbox off:
Settings - Server - Library - “Empty trash automatically after every scan”
Never enable it when your media are not stored _inside_ the Plex server device.

Thanks! I’m guessing I had unchecked that on the previous install but forgot about it. I’ve unchecked it and will see how it goes. Thanks for the help.
