# TV Series poster art?

I am adding poster art for TV series..  
example:  
Walking Dead (2010)  
Walking Dead (2010).png (poster art)  
season 01  
season 02  
etc…  
I am putting the Walking Dead (2010).png file under the Walking Dead (2010) root folder  
I do the [plex dance](https://forums.plex.tv/t/the-plex-dance/197064) and it does not show up am I missing something?  
I do have local assets checked.. I have title cards added with no issues, but poster art is the issue

Name the show’s poster `show`, `poster` or `folder`. Then refresh the show’s metadata (no need to do a [Plex Dance](https://forums.plex.tv/t/the-plex-dance/197064)).

ok I did poster.png… not showing  
did Walking Dead (2010) - poster.png… not showing  
ideas??

Once you have edited the show and selected one of the posters on offer manually, this manual selection “sticks”.  
But you will find the version you have placed inside the show folder among the posters to select from (after refreshing metadata).  
It is just a bit difficult to know which one it is – unless it is a different motive than all the other ones. (Hint: it might be one of the last or even _the_ last one, if you added it after the show has been matched.)
