# TV Show Adding

I’m starting to upload my tv shows to my plex server and I was reading the tv show naming. I’m placing each season in a different subfolder under the main show so for instance code black has 3 seasons so I have season 1,2,3. Do I just add the main folder code black then the sever will pull the folders in and organize it by season or do I need to each sun folder added because I have one category TV Shows or does each show have to be in its own directory

Nope… don’t add individual movie/show folders to your library. Your Plex libraries should always point to the folder containing your shows.

## Example

```plaintext
TV Shows <- point your library to this folder
  Code Black (2015)
    Season 01
      ...
    Season 02
      ...
    Season 03
      ...

  Another Show (Year)
    Season XX
      ...

```

Thanks I started uploading code black and it auto pulled in season 1 about to start uploading season 2 thanks for the assist
