When I browse the tv shows and then I select the show and opening shows doesn’t listen ---

Are you referring to the theme music for that show? If so, my experience indicates that the theme music doesn’t play unless the show in question is showing on the main screen, waiting for the user to select Play (which will start playing with the most recent unplayed episode or first episode if all have been played), select a season (if more than one is available) or select an episode. If one episode has ended and a new one will be playing, the theme music doesn’t play in between. Additionally, some theme music is very soft, so you may need to turn up the volume to hear it…just be careful when the show starts as it may be at a different audio level. Finally, the theme music for some shows isn’t in the repository that Plex uses to get the theme music. I have a couple of off-beat shows that don’t play the theme music, simply because it’s not available. ---

No… or at least you shouldn’t have to. Can you give me the name or a show you are experiencing this with? If I have or can get the same show, I can see if I have the same problems. ---

Some, but not a lot. Haven’t had the problem that you’re describing with any of the anime that I do have, though. ---
