Server Version#:4.51.1
Player Version#:8.12.4.22902
Plex Server is on my Intel Win 10 NUC. Plex Player is the Shield app. Both the NUC and Shield are Ethernet connected to my home network. I have a TV Shows and Movies folder on the Win 10 desktop. I also use Sonarr, Radarr and SABnzbd on the Win 10 NUC. Everything works great except the Shield Plex.
I had an issue several days ago where TV Shows and Movies weren’t showing up in their respective libraries in the Shield app but were in the Plex Server on my NUC. @BigWheel suggested disabling IPv6 which seemed to fixed it. Later I deleted the only movie I had in the Movie library and now, a day later, all my TV shows are showing in the Movie library and The TV Shows library is showing empty in the Plex app on my Shield. Everything, again, shows correct in Plex Server on my NUC.
can you please take a screenshot of this if possible. movie libraries can’t show things like seasons and episode lists so trying to understand what exactly you are seeing.
OK I’ll have to look into that. I’m not sure how to take a screen shot through Shield.
Whoa, this is really weird. I opened up Plex on my Shield and immediately there was an update to 8.13.0.22986. I updated and now things are back where they should be. Honestly before hand my TV shows were in my Movie Library. In fact we watched a show today.
Irregardless it appears things are now correct. Call off the dogs I guess.
Sorry, I can’t explain it and now I can’t prove it.
@BigWheel
Well it happened again. TV shows are in the Movie library and nothing in the TV Show library. However when I reboot my Shield things are showing correct. For how long I’m not sure. I took some photos.
Can you update to 8.13? If still the same can you use those 3 dots to the left of “Home” and choose “Reset All customizations” and select your server and the libraries you want on home screen again.
Also can you go into setting and in the experience row and make sure “reduce motion” set to off?
