in plex/web edit the season 0/specials with the pencil icon and you'll see the options.

My bad, I should have been more specific.  How can I have pms automaticly do this for me?

For exapmle, a movie, say... abc.avi and I have a image with the same name pms selects that artwork.  Works great for movies.

I looked at the help for TV but could not specials folder.

I've tried

season-00.jpg and season-specials.jpg but its not changing the artwork.

Any updates on this?

Local Media Assets for TV Show Specials does not seem to work.

I was able to reproduce this.

local media assets for tv shows is enabled and topmost in the list of agents

local season posters appear not to work at all.

Z:\Anime\Blood C\Season 00\Season-00.jpg doesn't show. Upon renaming the file to

Z:\Anime\Blood C\Season 00\poster.jpg it shows up immediately as poster for the whole show. So the file is a valid .jpg

Looking in the scanner script, it is looking for "season-specials-poster.ext".  Try that.

Thank you! This works for the Specials Season.

Any chance you could look again for what it expects for 'normal' seasons?

so far I've tried season-01.jpg and season-01-poster.jpg and season-poster.jpg as well. Nothing works so far.

The corresponding info in the support pages is clearly cocked up.

season #-poster.jpg

No dash, no leading zero.

Now it is working! The support pages are totally wrong on season posters.

Thanks again!

I know that this is a really old thread, but it's the first time I've found the answer that I've been looking for for years. The support pages still show incorrect labeling for specials and season posters.

It is working for me exactly as it's stated on the support pages.

regular seasons:
/TV/Show/Season 01/season01.jpg
/TV/Show/Season 02/season02.jpg
etc.

for specials:
/TV/Show/Season 00/season-specials-poster.jpg
or
/TV/Show/Specials/season-specials-poster.jpg

What? That works for you? Great. I ended up having to use:
Season-01-Poster.jpg

You need to 'Refresh Metadata' for the whole series after adding the jpg file.
After that has finished, the picture is available for selection when you 'edit' the season.
In most cases it will not automatically replace the existing season poster.

Yeah, Season-01-Poster.jpg worked for me.
