Previously, TVDB offered three episode sorting options: Aired, DVD, Absolute. More recently, TVDB has begun listing additional options (US Aired order, UK Aired Order, Combined Order, etc). This new sorting data does not seem to be supported by plex. This is especially problematic with kids shows and cartoons where episodes are combined into one file. Previously, DVD order would typically be used for these combined episode formats, but now that TVDB has changed this order to its own “combined order,” DVD order no longer seems to work. Since plex always seems to give me trouble when I try the S01E01-E02 format, (it plays the same episodes twice, but that’s a story for another thread), I would really like support for these other episode groupings on TVDB. It could also come in handy when multiple aired orders are available. ---
