First time setup and I get this on my Iphone and computer every time…
I am recently getting this error as well. I was running Plex on an old PC Laptop, using an older version of plex since it didnt support newer versions. EVERYTHING played on that thing but the computer was very old making playback sometimes laggy. Yesterday I upgraded to an iMac and believe everything is up to date. Plex has never ran slower in my life, it ran faster on my super old Laptop. I havent checked all my content but most titles play from what I can tell and I only get this error on select titles… I am going to try and delete them from my library and re upload them but so far I have not found a fix for this… There is absolutely nothing wrong with the video format or codec seeing how all my videos are all the same.
So Update! I have gone through forums like crazy… I dont know what kind of computer you run your server on, but I found one comment that said, if you update your flash player it helps… like before when i would click on a movie to edit the metadata or try to load a video prior to playing it it would take forever or give me that error… but what do you know… updating flash player did the trick!
