# Unable to Delete Subtitles

When I added a Movie, I had some challenges with the Metadata. Plex automatically added it as another version of an existing movie, and I had to remove it, re-add it a couple times to get it to work right. So I went to check out the Subtitles listing, which is normally a single listing, but there are multiple listings for the same subtitles. When trying to delete them with the “X”, it tells me “There was a problem deleting this stream”.
What am I doing wrong? And how can I clear out these false subtitle streams so that the subtitle selections are accurate? (there should be only one)

Name your movies always according to the guidelines, so they use the full, official title and the release year in parentheses. This avoids 98% of all mismatches.
