I had a running plex server on an old machine. I wished to set up the server on a new machine. I installed plex media server and ran it with my existing username and password. No wizard or server setup was present. When I ran setup plex from plex user account folder I got error ”Something went wrong. Make sure the server is available and try again.”
When I tried the procedures in topic “Why can’t the Plex app find or connect to my Plex Media Server?” it indicates that I am not authorized.
I previously posted but the topic was lost. Could anyone help with this. I really want to set up a new server instance from scratch on my existing user account or a new user account.
