Unable to match Astro Boy 1963

I’ve been trying to figure out how to get Plex to match Astro Boy from 1963, but just can’t seem to make it happen.

TheTVDB has it listed Astro Boy - TheTVDB.com and I’ve tried searching tvdb-71952 but I think the new agent doesn’t allow that type of searching any longer. Any help would be appreciated and I can provide whatever info y’all need to guide me!

How do you have the files named and organized?

Try the following (Plex Dance the series after renaming):

/TV Shows
../Astro Boy (1963) {tvdb-71952}
..../Season 01
....../Astro Boy (1963) s01e0001.mkv <-- four digits for episode number since there are more than 100.

I don’t believe it is an issue with folder/file naming/organization. Astro Boy 1963 just appears not to exist in whatever databases we’ve moved to in the new agent.

To answer your question I have
/TV Shows
…/Astro Boy (1963)
…/Season 01
…/Astro Boy s01e0001 (was doing 3 digits but changed it based on your suggestion)

Something is going on with the plex database, I was able to locate it, but it has the wrong year listed

I see the problem. The listing for the show on TMDB is linked to the wrong show on IMDB. The field unfortunately is locked so I cannot change it so have created a report on TMDB to have an moderator fix it.

I believe there was also an Astro Boy 2003 cartoon.
