Unable to play programs starting within the next minute

Not sure if there’s a button I’m not pressing correctly, but I’ve noticed a quirk which is a tad annoying.

On the Live TV Guide, if there’s a program starting within the next minute or two the program shown for that channel will be marked as starting at that time.

Because of this when you press OK on the channel it goes into the program itself and asks if you want to record it as it’ll be starting in that next minute for example.

But, this then makes it not possible to just tune into the channel to watch the remainder of the program that was on. I’ve tried pressing the play button on the roku remote instead but it still doesn’t work.

I’m having the same issue with both the Roku Preview and the regular versions. The issue makes it imposable to switch to a live channel in the last few minutes of a show or the fist few minutes of a show about to come on.

OMG! This is SOOO frustrating!! Which dumbass programmer came up with this???

I will assume this was done intentionally in order to cover up some other unwanted issue.

Wanted to bump this as it’s rather annoying still.

Just some way of being able to force changing to a channel rather than the specific program would resolve this.

Why does Plex keep fixing minor issues in each release and not even trying to fix the massive issues like Watching a show that is still recording, pausing cause it jump backwards or forward to the beginning and Unable to play programs starting within the next minute? How can you prioritize a duplicate “More” button on album screen over the daily frustration of not being able to watch any show that is still recording? Come on folks trough us a bone and at least make an attempt to try and fix these major issues. Or maybe at least acknowledge that the problems exists, give us a known bug list! Do the Plex Devs have a public bug tracker? I haven’t been able to find it, if they do…
