# Uncheck selection option?

I looked but didn’t see this anywhere, although I’d be surprised if it wasn’t mentioned before (perhaps I’m just using the wrong keywords. In that event, mea culpa.)
iTunes has a feature where you can check/uncheck individual media files. This is especially helpful with audio files, in my opinion, because if you have a track or two on an album that you always skip, you can simply uncheck those songs and they won’t playback unless forced. So if I play the album the song won’t play, but if I click on the specific song and play it directly it will play.
Is there a way to do this with Plex? (I primarily use PlexAmp on iOS, but it’d be great if the preference occurred at the server level and pulled through to all playback devices). If not, I’d suggest this as a feature in a future release.

Plex currently doesn’t have such an option. The closest you can get is by rating the songs you don’t like with 2 or less stars (I think it’s 2; though I might be mistaken and it’s actually 1 star).
There’s a feature suggestion discussing an option to skip/ignore songs from shuffle/radios/… similar to how iTunes/Apple Music allow enabling/disabling individual songs.
