I enjoyed watching the Live TV channel “Unidentified.” A few days ago it disappeared from the lineup. Does anyone know why? Server Version#: 6.7.24.7009-0d064dd-Plex Player Version#: Tuner Make/Model: 4230X-Roku 3 Guide/Lineup name: Using XMLTV?: Channel number/Name: ---

After checking around, it looks like the channel was quietly shut down. There’s another service on Roku (forgot what it was) that had “Unidentified” in its lineup which no longer appears there. All of those pauses in their programming where they play that funky music saying they will be right back was probably allocated advertisement space that was unused. So they may not have attracted enough advertisers to sustain it. ---

I too used to really enjoy watching the programme content on Unidentified TV, but sadly it seems to have completely gone off PLEX as of the May 1st. So I recently contacted the content provider, 1091 Pictures. This is what I got back from their Audience Development Manager Catherine Mullen of 1091 Pictures Atlanta GA. ““Thanks for reaching out! Unfortunately we are only live on Samsung TV Plus for now, but we do hope to get reconnected with previous platforms and in new locations soon.”” From my viewpont I really hope Unidentified TV returns soon or pops up somewhere else thats easily accessible, because I dont find much else worth watching on Plex Live TV channels. ---

I also love Unidentified, was really wondering what happened, luckily I have a samsung smart TV so can continue to watch but really liked the flexibility of watching in more rooms then the livingroom. I hope they set up a website or another way for viewers to support the channel. Well heres hoping! ---

Unidentified was one of the best things on Plex live tv. Its too bad the programming is so damn unpredictable. The lineup changes all the time, and there is never any warning given to us about what changes will be made. Same deal with the music channels. I use to watch the Yacht Rock channel all the time - now it’s gone. Browsing the channel list is also so annoyingly clunky that I just don’t bother anymore. The end result is that I ignore Plex live tv & I just use Pluto. The interface is SO much better, and they don’t pull the rug out from under you with changes every month! Seems like for every good idea Plex has, it’s counterbalanced with a bad one. ---
