# Update Folder

My “%LOCALAPPDATA%\Plex Media Server\Updates” is sitting around 2GB. Any reason why I can’t delete the contents of this folder?

There are no reasons against it.

If you however wanted to go back to an earlier version of Plex Server (for whatever reasons), you better archive the contents of this folder somewhere.
