# Updated server today. No longer displayed guide. Now getting "unknown error"

I installed an update to the server today. Suddenly I had no guide data. Tuner still works, is still recognized by server. Press “Refresh Guide,” says it’s downloading but nothing shows up. I can go to channels from the home screen that have been loaded and channels play just fine. I clicked “Browse” on the LiveTV & DVR screen and now have “there was an unexpected error Please visit our forums…”

Same experience on every player. Roku, Windows, Mac, Android.

Server Version#: 1.21.1.3876  
Player Version#: Win10 4.29.2  
Tuner Make/Model: HDHomeRun Duo  
Guide/Lineup name:  
Using XMLTV?: No  
Channel number/Name:

I have the same issue. System updated last night and today I have no guide

I’ve got a similar issue happening now. I’ve just done the Server update Version 1.21.1.3876  
OSX 10.12.6  
Tuner HDHomeRun  
Using XMLTV?: No  
I can see the schedule for local OTA channels and it appears to record (testing that now) but if I click play I get this message  
" Playback Error There was an unexpected error during playback. Please visit our forums if you continue to experience problems."  
Not a critical bug for me but a reminder of why I don’t update Server versions.
