# Updating PlexConnect - Error

can someone please help me with the following as I cant seem to get updated to the new version:

git pull

remote: Counting objects: 570, done.

remote: Compressing objects: 100% (307/307), done.

remote: Total 511 (delta 355), reused 344 (delta 199)

Receiving objects: 100% (511/511), 159.41 KiB | 281 KiB/s, done.

Your configuration specifies to merge with the ref 'XML\_templates'

from the remote, but no such ref was fetched.

"XML\_templates" was the branch name we used earlier. Since then it got fed back into "master", with XML\_templates being removed. I guess this is your issue now...

Store your \*.cfg files, delete that old stuff and git-pull the master branch from scratch.

everything in PlexConnect/... just keep the .cfg files for later.
