# Use local title data / file name

It would be nice to use local file titles ([show] - S01E01 - [title]) for an episode of a tv show. I would prefer to configure this at tv show or season level. Often there are some misspellings or I would prefer another languages title (not desciption). At TMDB or TVDB almost all tv shows are locked and can’t be edited right now. Then I want to use my local data.

I consider this is a redundant request to the 1st link shared by Otto. The 2nd link is more about allowing local extras on episode level to obtain an individual name.
@Schtief : I’ll be closing this one too… please don’t take this as shutting your suggestions down. They’re very much appreciated – suggestions in general just got way out of hand over the last years with tons of duplicates, so we’re trying to consolidate those a bit more.
