# Use Plex API to Schedule DVR Recordings

Player Version#: N/A

I found [this post](https://forums.plex.tv/t/feature-request-export-import-recording-schedule/203272/3), but it only demonstrate a way to retrieve the current recordings. I was wondering if the Plex API also allows for the setting of DVR recordings. I’m hoping to use this to be able to “import” the DVR schedule. My thoughts are I retrieve the list and then parse/iterate through the list sending POSTs to the Plex API.

Is there any official API documentation publically accessible? It seems [this post](https://forums.plex.tv/t/official-plex-api-documentation/148561) from a while ago never got answered and I have the same question now.
