# Users App Access 2-4 min Timeout

When my friends try and play a movie in my library they can only stream 2-4 min and then it times out and they get a prompt to buy subscription or one time fee for the app.

The question - is this an absolute requirement that they pay the $4.99 (?) to use the App to access my shared library?

yes for mobile apps. non-mobile apps are free and have no restrictions.

So basically they can watch for free on a browser? Is that correct? and if they want to use the app they will need to pay the $4.99.
