Server Version#: 1.23.5.4801 Player Version#: Web 4.61.2 I recently moved my Plex server from a Mac mini to a Synology NAS. Everything seemed to work fine. I can view stuff inside my network. I can leave the house and watching things on my phone. Great. _However_ : users I have shared my libraries with can no longer see anything. I completely removed one user, and re-added them; nothing. I created a test account, and shared some media. Thanks @trumpy81 but I don’t have anything to customize. I turned off all of the Plex-driven features (Tidal, Movies, etc), and now see nothing: [Imgur: The magic of the Internet](https://imgur.com/zbYy7Xw) I have no “more” or anything that would let me pick a server and what libraries I want to pin. ---

This is a user with no server. There are no server settings. ---

I must not have explained this well. **My server** I have a server running just fine. The recommendations are all configured. For example, movies: [my movie recommendations](https://imgur.com/9HAETMK). If I log in to my account on the web, I can see whatever: [my library in my client](https://imgur.com/QWOAkE1), as expected. I shared my libraries with a user: [I am sharing libraries](https://imgur.com/FcFC7fZ) **Some other user** This is the point of view of the other user, who is a client with no server of their own. All they should be able to do is view content shared with them. They can see that I am sharing libraries, if they go to Settings → Users & Sharing: : [User can see that I am sharing libraries](https://imgur.com/Qsc1xg6) They see none of the media though. Yes the user is signed in to their own account. The user has been both on my network and an external one; same results. I do have Remove Access enabled and configured. It doesn’t appear to be a networking issue. Not only does the user see the same thing regardless of whether they are on my network or not, things work just fine for me when I am signed in on the [iOS client, outside of my network](https://imgur.com/PYeMEjB) ---

Of course that is not a silver bullet; I am totally grasping at straws. I’ll re-install Plex and see if that does anything. ---

Just for extra context, I followed [this guide](https://florianjensen.com/2019/01/26/migrating-plex-from-mac-to-synology/) when moving from the Mini to the Synology. ---

Yeah, that not found seemed to be a hiccup from when I was fiddling around with settings while watching Raw. The friend has no server of their own at all. ---

Er, wait. Why would he need a server to watch content that is on my server? This particular issue never appeared until I moved from Mac to Synology. ---

Okay, the plot thickens. 1. I updated my server to the latest - 1.23.5.4862. 2. Signing into the iOS client inside of my network, the friend saw that the had to choose a default server. They chose my new one, “Luthor”. This feels like progress. However, none of the libraries show up. In fact, it shows that my [server is offline.](https://imgur.com/Tpye0ij) This is wild, because my server is totally online, and I can see it from both inside and outside of my network. ---

Nope. I am now doing it with a new, separate, test user at my house so it is for sure the same network. ---

if you have a client other than the web app with the shared user signed in the logs from the client will help determine why it might not be able to connect to your server. as a side note you should suggest to your friends they change their username to be something other than their email. Welp. I flailed and fought. I cleaned up libraries and the server crashed. When I rebooted it, it said I had to claim it again. After claiming it, the sharing worked. So I guess it is fixed, even though nothing I did makes any sense to have it now be fixed. ---

Weird. I saw some 401 unauthorized messages trying to connect to server in log when the other user was signed in but could not figure out why. ---

Yeah, I noticed those too but they made no sense whatsoever to me. I assume something went sideways as I moved things from one system to another? Hopefully it’s fixed itself forever. ---
