# Vc1 decoder on raspberry pi

Server Version#:4.74.3  
Player Version# ??  
I am running plex media server on raspberry pi 4. I downloaded an mp4 file to videos folder.  
When I try to play I get playback error "cannot convert this item. Implementation for video decoder av1 not found. How do I get av1 decoder on my plex media server.

Plex does not yet support [AV1](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AV1) video (which is not the same as [VC-1](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VC-1) video).

You can add your vote to the feature suggestion:
