Server Version#: Version 1.41.9.9961 (Updated today)  
OS-Ubuntu-Server: Release 22.04.5 LTS (Jammy Jellyfish) 64-bit  
I wanted to bring something up as i was searching for content that was added around 7 to 8 hours ago. The files were for tv shows, and it was VERY odd that the server did not identify the files. The other 2 servers picked them up quick and i saw the notification from them.

Now on plex “the newest beta release”, it didnt recognize them.

Codec ID : isom (isom/iso2/mp41)

I didnt verify the logs, however, VERY ODD. As soon as i used mkvtools, swapped it to mkv, the seasons showed up, instantly. (not even as a duplicate) i swapped them to the same folder (same name, different extension). Just wanted to bring this to someones attention since if i didnt search actively for my RECENTLY added content, i wasnt going to know something was wrong.

( I added content consistently for the past 4 to 6 days and with the mp4 extension and didn’t have any previous issues.)

If anyone has a suggestion that might bring light to this issue, i would appreciate it.

Could you provide the [server logs](https://support.plex.tv/articles/200250417-plex-media-server-log-files/) please?

A [sample file](https://support.plex.tv/articles/201035968-generating-sample-files-from-media/) would make things even quick for us, if you’re able please DM this to me.

I’m seeing some DNS errors in the logs but not much else as you don’t have [debug logging](https://support.plex.tv/articles/201643703-reporting-issues-with-plex-media-server/#toc-1) enabled.

You’ll have to enable that then rescan in the problem files and provide the new logs.

As for the DNS issue, I’m seeing your server is failing to resolve plex.tv, you should check your DNS configuration on the machine or network as this will cause issues.
