Since years I use plex server on Windows 10 and the player on appleTV. Everything was perfect since I recently updated the plex server and the app on my apple tv. First problem was, that there was no connection to my PC regardless the device I tried to connect from.
Then after DAYS searching the Internet I noticed that the “remote access” was disabled. Thus, I turned it on and all devices can now connect to the plex-server on my Windows PC.
But no I have a very bad video quality with 480x270 @ 0,7 Mbps. It also says that there are some issues with the transcoding. Translated from German it says:
“This app can’t play this file thru direct connection. There is no profile existing for playing videofiles for http protokoll and the container mkv and video codec h264.”
Can someone help me please to solve this issue?
