HEVC/H.265 has other benefits for non-4K content and can reduce file sizes by 40% or more!
I bought a 70" P-Series and like the Netflix 4K, just wish there was more content... If an Apple Television comes out, this Vizio is getting returned... ;) Apple is later to the HEVC/H.265 party then I would have expected.
*drool* thats the TV I want, would love a plex app for it. I don't see it arriving on my doorstep for a few more months at minimum though so hopefully the app is out by then.

Will I be able to stream my plex channels to my vizio tv through this app?
When I load the app on the tv, it just says PLEX, and has not changed for 10-15 minutes.
I tried turning off, resetting and logging into my server on the computer. Nothing is happening. Any help?

Did you update your PMS to the current version (0.9.11.1)?
Having the same issue on a m501-d vizio
I have the most current pms. Have let it sit at the plex screen for 30 mins. Nothing happens. Any help would be appreciated.
I am having problems also on my Vizio. I get told it couldn't find the server after putting in the 4 digit PIN. Never get an option to submit any credentials. I have reinstalled the server, reset my Vizio TV, etc. Btw, the server is logged in and the server shows up on the PLEX site. Spent a lot of hours mucking with it and I am beggining to wonder if the Vizio app is fully baked or not.

I have an e601i-a3. No plex app.
Same here with the same model. A call to Vizio tech support, and they couldn't even FIND the app, and said maybe it was too new for it to show in their directory. And they said there was no firmware to download to update. I've had this TV since January and I haven't noticed a single new app. I'm kinda disappointed, maybe instead of a Smart TV for my next purchase, I'll just stick with Chromecast.
FYI, the Plex app is now available in the Y! Store/VIA Plus... I can get it installed and loaded on my new Vizio e500i-b1 but stalls at Buffering on any movies and crashes my TV. Any thoughts?
Hola necesito su ayuda, tengo un tv Vizio y le baje la aplicacion de plex, fui a internet en noviembre he hice un pago por un año, volvi al tv y me dan un codigo que lo pongo y me dicen que tengo que ir a una pagina y pongo el codigo y me dice que ya esta listo y cuando trato de abrirla en el tv me dice que tengo que estar conectada a un servidor, he hecho de todo pero no se resuelve el problema, pueden ayudarme explicandome que hacer paso por paso, gracias espero su respuesta, Maria
